The Boise Music Festival with Backstreet & Bret

The guys and I had the honor of playing the Boise Music Festival on Saturday in Boise, Idaho. Major thanks to Jason Wilmot from Mix 106 and Greg Lawley for having us. It was our first time ever playing Boise, and both of you made us feel right at home.

Highlights of the day: (1) playing to thousands of people on the main stage and meeting everyone afterward. Boise crowds are awesome crowds. (2) Hanging with the Mix 106 and KISS-FM crew. They know how to have a good time. (3) Meeting and playing football with the Backstreet Boys. Jon and I used to jump on our beds and rock out to Backstreet’s Back. Meeting them was so much fun. (4) Watching Bret Michaels perform. The audience went WILD when Bret walked on stage, and his performance blew me away. So. Much. Energy.

Okay, you’re probably tired of reading. Two paragraphs is a lot for a 21st century blog. Here, look at some pictures.

See all those dots down there that aren’t green? Those are people.

The studly Micah Ricks rocking the main stage. Look at the crowd!

The Backstreet Boys. These guys were so nice. Nick and Brian can throw a football just about as well as they can dance.

Hanging with
103.3 KISS-FM. Sexy people! They introduced us before we played.

Posing with our lovely label rep Alyssa, the incredible Greg Lawley, the man who put together the festival, and Jason Wilmot, the program director for Mix 106 in Boise.

So, that’s all for now! Hope you enjoyed the words and the pictures.

Sincerely,
Jeremy William Smith
